UPCYCLING FOR A CLEANER, GREENER NEPAL
Tyre Treasures is a green enterprise that aims to address the ever-increasing pollution caused by non-biodegradable inorganic waste, primarily TYRES. We follow the principles of “Reduce. Reuse. Recycle.” and; upcycle tyres into refined products to promote a culture of conservancy and judicious use of resources.
Our products run on waste, and we incorporate local and natural themes into creating useful as well as aesthetic products. We create green products out of tyres in order to reduce carbon footprint and to advocate for environmental sustainability.
We also make sure that we work with socially responsible entities, diligent local producers, and organizations that promote economic welfare of Nepali women to create a green eco-system where we reduce, reuse, and recycle.

While the number of vehicles plying the roads multiply day by day, the approach to disposing scrap tyres is nowhere near environmentally sanitary. Tyres by nature are non-biodegradable, and end up in brick kilns and bandhs. Burning them omits toxic fumes, pollutants, chemical smoke which can lead to serious health issues.
Tyres are sturdy, bouncy, and durable, and thus, even when their retreading capacity has been exceeded, these can be upcycled effciently as raw materials.
Alone we can do so little; together we can do so much!
Tyre Treasures believes that working together with various individuals and organizations who share similar beliefs would further the greater cause: a greener and cleaner Nepal!
Creativity injected in Trash
Our upcycled products are equal parts utilitarian and aesthetic, with no compromise in design and quality. We aim
- to reuse and upcycle old tyres, that would otherwise be burned, or sit on river banks and landfills;
- to develop countless new upcycled products together with the expert hands and minds in the handicraft, interior, and environmental sector.
- to provide an alternative source of income for men and women across Nepal who have skills, and spirit but lack opportunity.;
